We look to invest in successful companies where our advice and capital will enable management to quickly build and extend capabilities. We focus on companies with the following characteristics:
- Experienced management team in place
- Revenues of $10 million to $300 million per year
- High gross margins and operating profitability
- Rapid growth
- Large and dynamic market opportunity
- Not capital intensive
- Technology and technology enabled businesses (service providers)
Transaction Profile
We invest as either a minority or majority investor into companies which are often at a key inflection point in their development. Our investments have the following characteristics:
- Equity investment range from $15 to $75 million
- Capital used to provide liquidity to current shareholders, accelerate growth, and fund acquisitions
- Typically lead or co-lead in first institutional round
- Serve as member of the board of directors
- Transactions use moderate, if any, leverage
- North Bridge Growth Equity does not require voting control
